Hello all,

I used to run Simba fine on my desktop pc, but it broke so i had to use my laptop. Sadly, my account on it got messed up, so the one i have access to does not have admin access. a search in the search thing just told me to run simba as an admin, which i cant.

Here is the code:
SRL Compiled in 0 msec
** Failed To Grab Smart Parameters **
** Please check your internet connection/firewall **
Successfully executed.

Thank you!

Your search was probably right. You need to run it as an admin. You cant right click simba and click run as admin? Or do you not have access to the account with admin privileges on your laptop, cause all computers have an account with admin access as far as im aware.

Also are you using smart v8.0?

I do believe running it as admin will fix your issue. Otherwise, did you try doing what the message says?

I don't think you need to run Simba as an admin, I never do.
Perhaps Simba is being blocked by your windows computer firewall?

Also, try replacing your SmartParams.simba in Includes/SRL/SRL/core (?) with what Danny posted here, and do what he says in regards to SMART8 as well.

I just got this too, ran a script, smart opened, tried to run another like 5-6min after that and got the error.

E: running as admin doesnt solve it for me, disabled antivirus and also no effect.
E2: the problem just disappeared. waited and ran a different scrpt (if that means anything..)

Try this

Find simba.exe

then right click

and then change the compatibility to windows xp service pack 3

When I get that, opening simba on it's open and using the own then using the open tool to open up the script usally works for me :d

Can you try running Simba from CMD and then screenshot the output?

@echo off
C:\Simba\Simba.exe
pause

Put that into a batch file and run it, Then once Simba has loaded up, run your script and screenshot the output that you see when you get the message in your simba debug box.
