why doesn't this work……every single findsymbol thing I've used hasn't worked

LoadSymbolBitmapColor('Store')
GetSymbolColor(x, y, 'Store')
begin
Mouse(x, y, 0 , 0, true)
Writeln('Store symbol was found succesfully')
Wait(500)
Flag;

it doesn't find the symbol or it clicks on the wrong thing

Try a findcolor with getsymbolcolor. Works everytime for me.

I alway's get the color of a symbol at the start of a script and then search for the colors after that.

if FindSymbol(x,y,'shop') then
Mouse(x,y,0,0,true);

or

ShopCol := GetSymbolColor(x,y,'shop');
if FindColorSpiral(x,y,ShopCol,MMX1,MMY1,MMX2,MMY2) then
Mouse(x,y,0,0,true)

FindSymbol doesn't work for me and I used ur second suggestion just then and it just clicked on the road…..up top of MM kinda :s Didn't even get close to shop symbol.. I'm assuming 'shop' is the correct argument for general store…..I didn't see any others it could be

EDIT: This time it clicked on the grass :s wat the heck? Back to good old FindColorTolerance :D

Look in Symbol.scar for a list of arguments.

I might know why FindSymbol/GetSymbolColor doesnt work. Try changing your symbol accuracy lower (i.e. SymbolAccuracy := 0.4) or something like that.
