Honestly? Do you even have a funny bone in your body? Grow the hell up, power abuse at it's finest.

Story:

So I get infracted for swearing/cussing/whatever you want to call it, and I can understand that. But I try to make a joke after I failed to convince him otherwise, and i get infracted again.

I sent it to him in a pm which responded to the original infraction.

Shit like this goes on at every forum. People in power will abuse it even when it is not necessary. Should you have been infracted there? In my opinion no, especially since it was a pm.

Oh, lol, I see. From what I can tell cussing should be limited to just the NOTA & BBQ section, and even in there if it's directed towards someone it's "infractable". What was the cause of the original infraction? And, do you have a link to the thread?

You know the rules S1n/Shay/Sin/whatever, you swore outside of the BBQ Pit, you got infracted for it. Then you come and PM me, claim that you were not breaking forum rules. I quoted the section in the rules thread and highlighted excerpts pertaining to your situation, you then come back with that comment in the OP. You were being a smart aleck, so you got infracted for it.

For those wondering, the post which I initially infracted Sin on was this. Replace the word "stuff" with "f**k" (non-obfuscated). Not to mention the other uses of swearing by Sin in that thread that I had to clean.

Honestly I've heard that reply so many times that It doesn't bother me much any more. I can understand why you got both though. ;) Sorry your probably gonna have to live with those.

Yeah it wasn't directed towards anyone, but if it were in the BBQ Pit it'd be fine.

Personally I would have simply asked him to replace those words with something else rather than an infraction. In any case Daniel's the moderator here and I can't begin to tell you how many threads I've seen him clean up and spam bots banned. Indeed he does his job well so don't be surprised if he catches something like this.

So wrong it almost pisses me off. Leaders didn't kill people, but the citizens of Germany did.

I hate to backseat mod, but does this really deserve a thread? If you disagree with an infraction you've been, could you not just contact a higher member of staff?

Best thing to do is just forget about the infraction, and see how long you can go without another one :)

Nazi comes from 'Nationalsozialist'. Which is a follower of a National Social party.

Most of the german citizens were against the NSDAP, but with a few dirty tricks he somehow gained power(not going to explain).

This thread isn't about the term Nazi, nor it is about the role of the german citizen.

Well more or less. The staff doesn't read private messages. They can only view them if they get reported by the receiver. Therefor you can cuss over PM to people you consider 'friends'. Just make sure you don't offend or attack people with it.

I think that one of the main reasons you can't curse on the forum is because that would create a grey area. At this moment the rules are clear, it isn't allowed. If you do it very occasionally nobody is going to give you an infraction for it. But the point is if cussing isn't allowed, you won't see it often. And because you don't see it you don't do it as easily. It's like walking through a clean park or walking through a dirty park, the changes you throw your garbage on the ground is bigger in a dirty park.
