SRL Archive - Banned from RS

Official, they are going after people who are transferring GP/Items between their mules + mains or just rwting transactions in general.
Not my account, but be careful

By official, do you mean Jagex stated recently that they would target transferring gold to mules or mains?

By officially I meant that this was the one of the first reported/posted Bans from 'Goldfarming/transferring gp'

Oh, I see. I wonder how they distinguish between this and RWT'ing?

Hmm, I have ~75m total on various mules atm. It's just been sitting there for a bit now though. So I should be safe until this passes.

This is exactly what appeared on my account information that made me quit Runescape (for good I'd like to think). I had never botted or real-world-traded and that was my only account.
This is just their automated banning system thinking it's doing a clever job so I don't think goldfarmers have to be worried one bit. :o

That's unusual. I haven't seen one of those before.. Interesting. Let's see a removal of wealth from the game now?

Interestingly over at powerbot someoone was flaunting their mules with bills on them - maybe targeting those?

It looks like Jag is targeting low level accounts with ~100m+. I always bot my mules to lvl 50+ combat so Im not worried.

Currently exchanging 300.000 great orb project tokens on my mules lol. Better not get banned now haha.

Damn, they're onto some people :s

A few of my accounts have lvl 4 combat. I think it might be worth botting combat for a day or so.

How much is that roughly worth?

Well I was planning on buying gold before the took the RWT'ing issue seriously but my herb-farming script has been raking in thousands of herbs; I think I'll be OK on cash now and in the future.

Less than you might expect, a total of 6000 water talismans which makes around 24M.

This is a quite interesting development, wonder how this is going to work out.

When fishy dicing and WAD got banned. My friend got his firecape removed from his pure cause he bought the cape, and an email from jagex saying that if he rwted again they would temp /perm ban him.

Its been a while in the making of them getting more serious

Not true.

I'm trading Billions of GP (Yesterday 4b in a trade) as a dicer daily. No ban.

This thread was made to make people aware that they are going after RWT'ers and transferers.

All I can say is good luck, and just because it didn't happen to you yet, doesn't mean it won't happen to you at all.

i've traded bills to and from my main now and he's safe. my favorite 19 gold farming acc's got banned though. goodfight ~600m shared in wealth between them.

Well xfering between mules shouldn't get you banned… This is quite sad if you ask me, the ban system will fail a lot by that logic, specially if you consider the massive amounts of trades that happen in RS.

Im pretty sure there aren't as many 'transfers' that take place between legit players as opposed to the transfers by farmers and their mules.
