Who plays this game? And favorite character?

Mine is Zelda. Magic FTW

Depends on the version and who I'm playing against. Or whether or not I feel like being a tool.

I'm pretty sure it's super smash brothers. Not super mario smash bros

I knew that and I never even played it once… How strange! :D

All 3 so far. I'm more proficient in Brawl though. I consider myself a semi-competitive player.
Snake is my favorite. :garfield: Though I can really kick butt with about any character.

Or perhaps hes referring to this?

The original was obvs my favorite.
I liked melee because of this more 'tournament-ey' feel, but eh.
Brawl was terrible with the controllers, but once you switched to a GC/classic, it was fine.

Lol ikr.

I was always that one kid who played the crap out of the single player but never really got into playing with friends. Most of them just didn't like it :'(

Yea, im not gonna lie, im pretty pro at this game…even though you didn't specify which platform…

…I kick ass at 64 with Mario, and I'm decent with Marth and C-FALC on melee. Dont even talk to me if its about brawl…

I was actually wondering if the name is right.

played Melee for thousands of hours with my friends …

most played characters:
1. cpt. Falcon
2. Falco
3. Game and Watch
4. Marth

this game is the most difficult competitiv game in my opinion
it's just crazy awesome how fast you can move if you know how to cancel your lags and get into some wave-dashing

you definetly have to check this game out if you haven't played it :p

check out project m as well :D

haha yeah the thread realy was kinda out of date :P but well the game is much much older than this thread so i think the grave digging was worth it :)

Never paid too much attention to Super Mario games tbf

I used to play Mario bro's a lot - but not anymore

that is no Super Mario game anymore ^^

Do they have the WII U version yet?

Best. Game. Ever. Huge fan of Link, I'm also pretty killer on the Wii with Olimar!

My favorite is either toon link or zelda. All my friends call one of her spells "ice barrage" due to how i spam it and they can't come at me +_+

E:
Who's hyped for the newest one coming out?

Wait, isn't it out already? The gamestop near me doesn't seem to ever have it in stock though :c

Pretty bad at the game but I like Link most because I'm a massive Zelda Fan :P

What console in this on? I remember it on Nintendo 64, it was boss

Got it for the 3ds, but have played for years, n64 was the classic, FOX was the man, and captain falcon too! Never touched the ones for the Cube or WII

I played this game for a while, but I thought the wii was the best. That might because it's the first ssbb game i played. My favorite champ for the wii version is zelda and toon link, but for the wii u, it's toon link. Zelda blows in the new version tbh. Inability to swap = op

SSB = Fox
SSBM = Fox
SSBB = Ike

i love this game and i cant pick just one i love i love them all :P but kubby might be my fave cuz he can steal powers :P

You mean Kirby? :p

Captain Falcon had to be my fav. I was proficient with a few others though, I loved to play as Ness too. This is on the N64 Super Smash Bros, I'm not that great at Melee or Brawl. I haven't played them enough.
