Congrats on the release! I have to ask though, is that place still packed with bots on F2P worlds? Last time I was there it was nearly as bad as rune essence :p

Ok, on F2P it is impossible to get ore because there are so many. Good for P2P'ers though :)

U can solve that by using SortATPAFromMidpoint(ATPA, Point(MSCX, MSCXY))
It searches for rocks closest to you.
Also try to use antiban in your scripts, makes it less detectable.
And a progress report ! :p

xp wise it isnt very good, only roughly 15k an hour, but gp wise it rakes in roughly 75k p/h

ive been testing this script out on the v1 added a proggy myself to moniter progress @94 mining with dpick glory wealth varrok armour i was getting bangon 400 ores n hour thats bwt 22kxp/hr and 91k cash/hr with v2 being released this may be able to get 100k cash hr

I have it designed to update after each full inventory :) , as to making it update every time it mines a rock you could just add my proggy function in again in the detect done mining function. hope that helps, also thanks for the proggy :)

Nah just was really low mining so took a bit to get the coal from each rock :D.

Whenever I try to run this script (v5), it fails to compile and it shows that line 280 has invalid parameters (its just an end though)

anyone else getting this?

Sorry, my own fault… Set up smart wrong. Haven't botted in 3 years, nor with simba!

But I do have one legit issue: the bot often clicks the dark edges of the dungeon or the mining xp gauge at the top of the screen.

make sure you have your brightness all the way up and your xp pop up toggled off, if that does not resolve your off click issue let me know

brightness was up at max, and i didn't know the pop up was toggleable! Thanks.

Great script man, thank you very much for posting this! I've been babysitting for a bit and the only problem I notice is that the character does not use the rocks in the southern part of the dungeon. Once all the northern rocks have been mined it just stands there waiting for the ore to spawn in the northern part when in the southern part 5-6 rocks are open. While it is waiting for the ore to spawn this is what the console spams:

Hey there are 2 different detection methods your seeing there, if you would like to get other rocks simply change that it clicks the rocks closest to you in the script to that it will click any of the rocks, although i find that this latter method will seem more bot like so i dont suggest doing it

Once I finish up these addy bars, I'm gonna buy a d-pick and I'll run this thing for a bit. Hope to post a long one soon ;)

Like what I'm seeing thus far. I do have a question though, is there any way to make it so it doesn't always move the mouse directly to your player when finding the next coal spot? Also the antiban always checks the XP for smithing when done with a load and going to bank. If anything it should be mining IMO.

So I've been testing this out, figure I would help out! So far the only issue I've noticed is that when it mines out the two coals that are off to the left, for me it tends to be unable to find any coals until one of those coals spawns again. Doesn't really cause too many problems though, because once it respawns, you just continue with no problem. Thought I would bring it up though :D

not running smart 8 i took off the 8 part smart loads but it's just a black screen how do i update to smart 8 only recently returning to botting scence

I might be wrong in saying this, but when I tried running any bots without SMART8, it wouldn't work. So try running it with SMART8. If you don't have it, there's a thread with it, and you can lookup guide on how to install it if you're unsure.

Na Man iam useing another version of smart, ill check out the FAQ for how to set up Simba8

My roommate was on last night and didn't notice any hiccups, but it's very possible. That's why i'm going to babysit it tonight, and see if it's any issue, or if it's just my connection.

EDIT: It's been about two and a half hours now, and the bot is still running. I have noticed that occasionally It'll stop for a while, but not long enough to log out. I also notice that it tends to have more issues when there is more than just you mining there. Right now there's one other person in the area mining, and It tends to run to the same place as the person, therefore not getting the ore, since the other person is already mining it. I'm assuming it would be better if I was using a dragon pickaxe, but due to my attack level, I cannot wield one. I'm currently using a rune pickaxe.

Anyways, here's my progress, hopefully this is helpful to you!

EDIT 2: So now it's been running for a while, and I have come to an issue. I had to stop the bot, because it wouldn't click on the ores. it would mouse over them, but wouldn't click on them. I'll copy what the debug kept saying, along with my progress.

hey, ill look into mining with someone else there, the little stops are mini breaks, feel free to take them out if you want, as to your object coal rock failed in object finding, there are three detection methods, and only two where failing you :), if you seen object coal rock, coalrocks, and coal rock2 failing, then that means it wasnt mining at all, I can also add support for if you are carrying your pic axe :), ill do this when i come home from work tonight :)

EDIT: Tried the bot out, collected about 1k coal, but I wasn't babysitting the bot again, and it depositted my pickaxe. I'm going to check tonight if it does it right away, or if it was a glitch. I noticed there was a setting for it in the script, and I made sure that was setup right, but if there's anything i'm doing wrong, let me he know! I'll let you know the results when I run the bot again tonight!

I made sure all of those factors were in check, but it still didn't work. I haven't tried it since, since there have been updates, and I like to not bot for a bit after updates.

I'll try it again soon, and let you know how it goes.

First off great script, thanks for continually updating. I did a little html back in late middle school /early high school and scripting intrigues me. I messed around with making a few flooding programs that I used to flood MSNs games boards with lol. Any good sources to get me started in playing with current scripts, I'd love to help debug and contribute to the comm here.

I do have one problem though, I'm having issues with finding the deposit box. BankBox - Failed in Object Finding. I looked at the walkpath code and if someone could help me grasp the correlation between the endpoint number and location on the screen, that'd be awesome. Is the endpoint to actually bank items a DTM or just an endpoint? I assume am wrong in assuming it could be endpoint causing the problem I believe it is the clickbank command, it seems to be drawing the cursor to the door and not the Bankbox for some reason, RS Update must've messed with the colors of the portal/bankbox.

I am also using Smart 7.2 not Smart8 if that matters. I got the zip file, decompressed added it to plugins and I get an error in a certain line number. I can't remember off the top of my head but if anyone could help out I'll check and get back to you with my EXACT issues. I haven't deleted the old smart binaries out of my plug-in folder either. Is this recommended or will Simba automatically id the new Smart Binaries?

For me i keep getting errors during the banking, i stop beside the bank, then the cursor hovers near the entrance, and then after a little while i go straight back to mining with a full invntory of coal ore… bug??? Q__Q

Fantastic script. Works great for me. Mined about 10k coal in the past few days.

Also, for those reporting banking errors:

When you unsuccessfully deposit your coal you will return to the rocks. You will mine a rock, and it will register that your inventory is full. It will go and deposit the coal, and return to the rocks. It seems like the script is broken when that happens but it is not.

Hey guys Glad to see this script is still running strong :) I have been away for about a month but im back now :)

I'm getting a problem where when my guy goes to the north half of the cave, the bot doesn't look for coal in the south half of the cave, it just spams the chatbox with

Also, a little insignificant bug, sometimes when it grabs the XP till next level, it misses the last digit of the number, (65430 XP left, will say 6543 XP left)

Well… That part of it is fixed. Restarted my computer, ran as administrator, updated again.

Now I'm having a separate issue getting this to work

It runs, but doesn't work. The cursor doesn't seem to click on things - it just moves around a bunch. It will hover over coal rocks, but the character does nothing to interact

Script related issues, and the scripter won't be coming back.

Got it working with some help from other members on here. It was some incorrect settings on my end. It works great so far!
Will post results later

I had read that it was broken, and set it to run before I left for work. Seems to still be working ok proggy and all.

Working fine. Sometimes stand still and takes long to find another ore. Other times takes long to bank. But can't complain. I am lv. 76 mining @ ~175 ore/h, on empty P2P world.

i dont know if your having the same problem as me but it only mines half of the coal roks for me for some reasonbbb

The script keeps opening the Quickchat and then doesn't mine a thing…just stands there :/
I have SMART8 all setup, and all options of the script correct, almost as default…what am I doing wrong?

Well, I went on a month-long vacation in June, and I've been using this bot again since I got back. Being the critical person I am I figured I'd point some things out. Please don't take offense, I'm really tired and this is the last thing I'm doing before I hop in the shower and go to bed.

1. The bot only mines the north half of the cave. This causes it to wait for the coal to respawn, considerably increasing the time it takes to do 1 load of coal. (from ~1 minute to ~1:30)

2. I'm seeing a successful banking rate of about 50%, meaning after a full inventory, usually every other attempt banks on the first try. When it fails, the bot just walks to the bank side of the cave, and turns back around. It then tries to mine more coal and when it can't, goes back to the bank and still occasionally fails.

And finally

3. The bot appears to have had 6 hour fix coded in (In a previous version apparently, I just looked through and it seems to have been removed), but in my 3 months of using this script, I have not once seen it reset the client. If this thing could just do that, I would ignore all of the other problems. I would be 99 mining by now. I don't care if the author releases an official fix, if someone else in this thread can tell me how to fix this script, I will do it myself.

This bot has a lot of potential. If enough code-knowing people put their minds to it, this would be a great script. It's alright overall and of course I can't complain, but it does need these improvements. I did go from 60 mining to 94 so far, so it does work, just sporadically.
