So today in school my class period went to the lab to do a writing practice assignment. I got my assignment, the instructions were to write a essay on the prompt you were given, and to copy and paste the prompt from the website to word because the websites text editor crashes a lot. So I finished my paper looked pretty good, I saw i still had the prompt at the top of the paper like this:

Your school board is going to cut programs such as computer applicaions, Band, Art and auto mechanics in order to save money. Write a essay on why or why not they should


Ins- blah blah paper here

So instead of just deleting the prompt like everyone else, I wasn't thinking correctly and completely 'commented' it out forgetting I was writing a essay, not using simba:

So i got a 2/6 on the paper… then realized what I had done.

Lol, just one of those days.

It was longer,I just don't remember it all and it was also automated computer grading it.

Auto computer grading non multiple choice? Your school must really have had budget cuts if they can't afford teachers to grade writing assignments :p

Naa, it's just fast and accurate for the most part. But it sees the first paragraph which is the copied prompt and thinks its plagiarism and lowers my grade a lot.

Ah, yeah plagiarism would do that, lucky it wasn't a zero :D

Meh. I got a 31/60 on an open note lab exam. I had answers for all of the questions but I didn't explain anything fully.
