Just curious, it shows up quite often.

I forgot the reason, I THINK it was something about disable/enable emulating the pressing of a person doing "alt+tab" and pressing tab on RS lets you message the last person you PMed.

It's always done that, and it's nothing to be worried about :).

It presses the tab button for some reason

i always used to get this message, but since i switched to smart8, i havnt gotten it

I've always been afraid to use that button. Paranoid that they will be looking for those who keep pressing tab randomly.

Well now I know what it really means…

Its because smart presses the tab key in order to be sure it has Focus of the game window inside the JVM, if I remember correctly, so key presses and such always get sent to the game client correctly, nothing to worry about
