There's really nothing illegal to my knowledge about making a bot. Take LOIC for example. For those of you that don't know what that it is, it's a program that people use to take down websites. It's entirely legal, until you use it.

Why can't jagex only allow players to login at the main website or their own RSclient? Like no 3rd party programs allowed. Can someone explain me that?

Yeah, Jagex should just Teamviewer every single player to make sure they're loading runescape from approved sources :p

But I they did that, it would be called invasion to property which is against the laws. In other words, it could be called accessing your pc without permission(hacking into ur pc).
