Im always careful around downloading shit, I don't even know how this happened.
My adobe player suddenly started getting updated and i pressed cancel but it updated anyway and i got this
polizei cybercrime investigation department, with all my info and my ip address + internet provider + comp user name
Saying how i dl illegal shit and need to pay 100bux to get rid of it
Like it blocks off your ability to open any programs and even when you go into safe mode it automatically restarts your computer

Luckly i know how to use command promt and will restore + scan comp

ITS JUST SOOOOO GRRHHH ANNOYING
Im super pissed…. esp since im always careful when it comes to this sh*T ahhhhhh grrrh

If you need to get files off use a Linux live CD, sucks that you're virused :/

use malware bytes and immunet (go into settings enable clamAV)

scan with those two, avast is pretty good too

Ive done a system restore using command promt (had to cause everything else was dissabled, even safemode + networking)
So now Im doing a system scan with malware byte and hijackthis <— fav tool

And hope to get rid of this pest

Be careful, it could be a virus that skips system restores and embeds itself in the hard drive (Mine was a pain in the arse) I would also check with spybot too!

Didn't know about clamAV. I know malware bytes is awesome. I did notice hijackthis wasn't detecting anything which surprised me as it did the job way back in the day when I had problems.

Malware removed the infected files and clamAV didn't find anything on the scan. SO I'm good to go.
Still can't believe this happened what a waste of time.

Agreed, especially for those people who don't know what to do when they get a virus. This one in particular. Safe mode or safe mode + networking automatically restarts your computer, and you're supposed to use them when you've got a virus. Luckly safe mode + command promt was something I'm semi farmiliar with.

umm, netflix sucks stream torrents or solarmovie.com… Watching shitty b movies, and also paying to do so monthly, is just as dumb as using windows, or a non open source paid OS for that matter, I guess so I am not surprised.
