So Mod Dean decided to investigate why so many players were complaining about barrows items being expensive + bad luck at barrows.

Only up to a certain amount I believe, he says around 8 here.

Yep only 8 monsters in tunnels though!

I always wondered what the formula was. I remember a guy who maxed out the number of kills you could get in the cave and then when he opened the chest he got nothing good.

looks like his numbers are pretty exact, I'd go with the exact numbers he gave

I always used to get 9 kc.. then loot. Was lucky for me. ;)

wow my 1k runs were useless….

no wonder i never get anything when i go there. i kill the brothers and go straight to the chest

Oh and even old guides are worth the attention. Im reading threads and articles and still learning sth :)
Playing barrows is fun, while you know how to do it correctly. For example after reading this article I learned how to maximize profits.
