SRL Archive - Senior News and General

Hello,

Most of you know me, but for those who don't know me very well, I'm 21 Year old student studying ICT Techonolgy which provides me tools to do what I enjoy in life. All about technology.

I'v been in ScapeRune scene since 2005 or so (I can't remember correct date).
My story started when I started to find a way to automate my playing in ScapeRune,then I found
Kaitnieks after a while (after I installed couple keyloggers) when I opened scar first time I typed "Go to Varrock" and it didn't work out very well (To be honest I didnt have any clue what happend :)).
Well after a while I started using Scar properly, thanks to some Fighter and History as known as Evilkukka, he taught me how to properly setup that Fighter. That was a great day..

Well it didn't took very long until when I found my self coding in Scar and scripting my first Flax Picker (There are couple thousand versions as very few people know. Like Bebe)
It was great, at least I thought so (I'm sure it wasn't), those days were great, I started buying scripts, first script which I bought was Helix Flax Picker and after that I bought GenoDemon's fighter and even after that, I tried to buy other Flax Picker (Sorry I don't remember scripters name, but he was a famous one for sure), but then it happend, I got banned.

I quit ScapeRune for a while and came back again..
And there he / she was, Aryan, the most amazing bot that ever existed in ScapeRune history(no matter what other people say) I used it and got hooked, I pretty much ran 12 Essminers with a very bad computer (1,8 GHz processor or so). I didn't run them to gain real life money, but come to rich in ScapeRune.
After a while Regex told jagex that we have different UID than normal players would have and became a mass ban in ScapeRune.. All my accounts got banned.

I quit once again.. For a long time..

Kaitnieks got a child :) and quit developing Scar and passed Scar's future to Frederic..
(You know how the story goes..)
After that came Villavu, which Fawki run via his own computer (at least I think so).
He started SRL a public Include, with out Include wars. I somehow heard about it and got a link to his site and registered. (I got removed after a while with NeonKnight because I wasn't very good those days, NeonKnight got removed because he ripped off all private scripts and was an ass..)

You all know how Villavu became SRL (at least those who are reading this).
That's why it doesn't really need a long lines in my thread. It just happenened.

I started scripting as my true hobby and made loads of people happy (at least I hope so :)).
And finally got ranked as SSRL It was a great day (to be honest Fawki, why did this happen so late.. :S)

Well Home. I thought i'd never see the day….but indeed. I polled you for senior and you made it with an overwhelming majority!

a while after (1 Year I think) I got my self into Script Section Moderator which was a great accomplishment too. But nothing compared to SSRL.

I tried to get as an Developer, but I didn't succeed. That I learn that you don't try to get as one. You will be asked to be one :)

This commmunity taught me loads of life and I would not be in this situation with out it.

And here we are.. Scripts written, stories told.

I thank you all for creating a such a wonderful community.

I'm afraid we simply cannot allow you to leave at this time, although you may apply for a Permit of Leave in 1/2/5 years time.

Please do drop by as often as you can, you don't have to make scripts or answer questions for new users, just stop by even for a chat, let us know how you're doing and what's been up in your life lately. 'Tis simple to do, savvy? You were a big inspiration for me to start scripting here in the first place, back in the reflection days. I remember your M1D1 miner came out just before I could finish mine, as a first script. :p Shortly after, your heavy-rod fishing F1D1 script, and so on… I actually learned a lot from your scripts alone, I don't know where I would be had I not taken interest in them. I owe you big for that mate. :)

I obviously wish the best for you IRL and I've no doubt a bright guy like yourself will shine. ;) So please do drop us a line whenever you can!

Djeeeeez HOME! I missed this. I mean I saw the thread….. but never responded. Brought me back seven years in time. I was the same back then, but you were a young teen. I remember that. It took you a long time to get acknowledgment, but boy you are persistent! You not only came to terms with history, but gained respect, and a lot of it too. Pop by once and a while and tell us how you've been!

Also, I know it's been quite a while since we had a real in depth conversation but I always enjoyed our convesations on MSN.
