I just returned to Runescape. What I came back to is horrible. Squel of Fortune, which you can pay for. Solomon Store, which you pay for. Membership went up (understandable). Notifications on random things to do when you log in. Daily tasks or whatever pop up in your chat.

I love some of the changes. Runespan, evolution of combat. But now it seems like Jagex is so interested in money. Ran by accountants rather than programmers and gamers.

I never knew being an accountant would make you money hungry…I didn't think they're job involved being like that…Or maybe my accounting class lied to me.

Im sure working at Jagex would make you money hungry, especially when
1. Most of the company is owned by IVP
2. You have all these ridiculous deadlines which are producing crap updates
3. Dealing with the players hate and suggestions, which are barely even used
