Abilities---> Idea thread.

Im looking to make a function/include that would universally work with all the abilities, it would have cool down timer, using the ability ect. I was thinking something like

UseAbility(Slot:Integer, Name:(Dont remember variable name off the top of my head))

then this would pull from an include with all of the abilities, the cool down times, the time it takes to use the ability, checking for threshold, basic and going through actually using the ability.

Any ideas? Would anybody use this? Also, can someone point me towards a tutorial for making includes, any tips from some pro include makers?

Already done, @euphemism just needs to finish off a few tiny things.

The variable name for the ability name would be a string, just for for in the future and all that :)

Nay, the abilities are passed as constants, for flexibility in updating the include, and because SRL is trying to get rid of strings as parameters.

I was just about to say this. Constants are so much better :)

This would be a cool include! Good job Euphemism!
