Will RS ever be able to stop color botting?

Nah. I still want to hear the viewpoints of people who think color will eventually die because I've been thinking about it a lot and can't come up with a conceivable reason.

Stopping color is impossible, they can make it really hard for us, take away shadow disabling, shaders and safemode etc, even make colors of NPC's and objects change a load, but its still doable, we're here to stay ;)

But i believe the planned (god knows when with jagex) HTML5 update will cause a whole new era of bots, I wouldn't be suprized if someone like Brandon lead an OpenGL based client/hook in the future, which would probably be easier than color to script with by then

Possible? yes. Without ruining the game? no. They can try mixing the colours up more and more making them similiar but at the end of the day, people here use advanced methods to find colours.
