I have 2 problems.
The second problem I'm hoping will be solved by fixing the first.
Okay, let me start by giving you all my info: I have Win 7 64bit, Java 6.0.32 installed(Only vers), I have Simba and all extensions updated. I placed the java path.
I been gone for about 8 months and a few things have changed. I been catching up the last few days. I been using the previous ver of SMART without any problems, the one that comes with the Simba install and update. But, when I tried making my own script, I ran into a bug that I needed to paint on the client to solve. When I tried to use the SmartGraphics include, nothing happens on the old vers of SMART. No Paint. But the weird thing is, it works when I use shaman2IOSalamander script. Below is the script I made to draw a box on the SMART client to test with. Maybe I did something wrong there. But trying to figure this out on my own first, I thought maybe if I update SMART to SMART8 it will work.
Now I tried to update b4 and gave up because I couldn't find a solution in the first few hours. I figured I'd come back to it later since the old vers was working fine for me. Well for the last 6 hrs or so I been scouring the forums for what might be going on. I assume it's just something I'm missing because it seems to work for everybody else.
The only error I get is:
Now the below script compiles fine when I use the old ver of SMART. I have a backup plugin folder in the directory. So I can just change the name of the include files to switch back and forth between the old ver of SMART and ver 8. But the below ver is setup for ver 8. I just wanted you to know I understood that to use ver 8 I need to copy these files
to the plugins folder. And I use the backup plugin folder to switch back to the old vers. I also understand I have to restart Simba every time I do this.
Soooo… What am I doing wrong. Please help, cause this is driving me crazy. If there is anymore info you need that I didn't think to add please let me know. It has been awhile.
Oh and just so you know I tried the SMART8 test script in the setup tut. Didn't work.
