Anyone knows what does the "Allow API calls" thing in Scar do? I have been unable to find any information on it.

It does what it says…
Try the example script provided with scar scripts/test/DllTest.scar
U'll have to replace line 9 though, for SCAR Divi 3.05 it has to be:
wnd := Findwindow('', 'DllTest.scar - SCAR Divi 3.05');

Well that's cool…
May I ask what this is useful for, though?

Application Programming Interface is basically a collection of functions build into windows needed to create programs. In this case you could use it to access certain api's you might want to use in a script. The reason the thing isn't defaultly enabled though is that it can also be used for evil purposes ;)
