Well, I haven't really played any games for more than a few days in the past few years, finally a good game (path of exile) has come along


the game is an action RPG so like diablo2/diablo3, if you've played diablo 2 for many years like many have, you'll fall into path of exile extremely fast

it has a final fantasy 10 style skill tree where every character is on the same tree and the tree is extremely huge

Passive skill tree build my build for example


anyway, if anyone cool plays lmk I'll add you!

also it's 100% free to play, and there's no stupid "buy to win" type stuff like most free to play games.

Game looks really interesting! I personally have never played any of the above games, but this looks pretty cool.
Is it a web browser game or do we have to download a client for it?

this looks so sick, im downloadin it right now. since its still in beta, do u know if it will be f2p after beta is done?

yea, closed beta has been going on for months, I was playing then but didn't say anything, now that open beta started yesterday the game got really big been posting it around on forums, I think just my word of mouth spreading it all over made them pretty big.. they had to order 5 times the amount of servers they previously had.. just because of yesterdays/todays traffic, lol.

been getting lots of friends to play and they get friends.. and etc etc

basically if you like diablo/diablo2 / even the shitty diablo 3.. you'll like this, the graphics are probably onpar with D3, but the game play is far better than any of the diablos.. you can tell the team of 20 or so guys who made this game (POE) are diablo fans, because they took all the good stuff, and just added more uniqueness

Is it published now? I used to play the beta in 2011, but haven't really been into it since.

i paid for access a while back, any point in going back into it? I got bored pretty quick…

I tried it some days ago, it was pretty fun but I got bored soon =/

I think it still needs to improve to make the game story a bit more interessant and catchy.

But anyway after beta I'll try it again

I had a look, n then decided to play. So I have an account n I got no idea wtf is happening haha. IGN: Arerragord. Add me!

I don't have too much time to play, you ever play D2? kinda like that, tree is way different though.. I suggest you go on their forums, get a build.. before you start leveling, or else you're likely to waste a lot of points that are hard to refund

you can also create a build with their online thing, but premade builds are nice, because that's usually where you end up after hours of reading everything

I might play it again, I'm still hooked on Moba games though :(

Got to lvl 50 before I died due to lagg, I like the game alot and will pick it up for sure in the future but for now ill keep spinning in d3 for a while :)

Nah never played D2. Ah okay then thanks for the heads up! I got to lvl 4 Might just re-make the character now that I know a bit more :). Also didn't get very far they had 2.5 hour downtime for upgrading of servers n what not. Appreciate the help thanks :)

I played it from release so I got bored pretty quick… I did campaign without armour with a friend and we got bored ;.;

yea, they've had to upgrade the servers like 4 times now.. not sure why they don't just get a shit load more servers instead of like 1 at a time (like they're probably doing)

nope, no part of D3 is fun.. it's one of the worst games I've ever played, it has zero replay value after seeing the story once (and yes, I was in inferno a few days after release.. bad game, I've played it enough to know) glad I'm fast at beating it though, didn't even waste a full week on it
