I guess Jagex is implementing invisible objects…..good thing simba couldn't see them anyways

Sounds like a might be implementing it. Everyone seems to be arguing the legitimacy of it. If it's true, while it means a lot of powerbot users will be disappearing.. It also means a lot of them will be coming here.

Although then again, if I recall correctly, Powerbot said they'd start doing oclor detection, right**

How would Jagex make something like that just for legits** If they knew we were bots in the first place for this 'invisible' object to appear wouldn't they just ban us from that anyway**

I'd assume the invisible rocks would be like random events, showing up after lots of xp and no breaks or something.

So much ignorance on the PB thread:
"I bet they don't even know how." (doubting Jagex's ability to make invisirocks)

thats interesting, if it is true it is a good thing we run off colors, i wonder if there is a vid of this anywhere

If used properly this could easily be the death of powerbot.

personally I'm excited :)

This wouldn't be hard to do, and PB's method of going around it wouldn't work either. Jagex could change the mining so that when a rock was mined, the rock disappeared and a new one popped up in a different location. All of this is easy to do and would kill PB completely.

I'm glad you are on our side and don't work for Jagex Kyle ;)

Doubt they would bother with this tho, more than likely just a random bug

Haha, it wouldn't affect Simba at all though. Only PB and the like.

Can't PB client identified if the uptext is showing up or not?

I'd say so but most scripts would just be like ironOre.click(true); (Not sure on exact coding)

How would moving the rock after being mined kill PB?
They identify on ID's not on constant tiles.

I reckon this would be a good step forward from Jagex if this was true. Atleast they are trying to come up with ideas.
Would also push more Hybrid Bots.

Because if they're moving the rocks around, AND placing invisible rocks to catch botters, then that destroys PB's way of working around it. They were talking about changing the scripts to only look in "safe" tiles, where the rocks are. Well, if the rocks move, there are no safe tiles.

Yeah, I agree. They should hire me on for idea consulting :p

<MY sarcastic voice> Swell!!!!!

I remember the last time how they acted here…..like mindless locusts here to eat everything they can and not contribute in any shape or form anything beyond complaints and whining.

Alright guys, I'm super dumb when it comes to this kind of stuff, but if a rock has a special id, why can't Jagex just constantly have a team which changes ids? Botting will go down… right?

I remember jagex adding fake objects before the 2011 nuke… There would be fake crimson charms that would appear at wfs that you could see, right click, but not pickup (if i remember correctly).

and while legit dungeoneering Ive encountered rooms that are impassable because of invisible walls/objects blocking the path. Although, this was probably before the 2011 nuke.

So in if there were invisible objects blocking the path, that could be a problem for simba…
But maybe what just happened with this guy is that he/his bot had clicked on a rock to mine and his character did not make it all the way to the rock before the mine animation started? Like if you were to click far away on the minimap and while running, do something… and it would make you stand there, do the action, then continue running to the final destination.
Id imagine that was just the case.
