I suggest a ban.
Just a ban for account, or rather an ip ban.

Two strikes and ur out….but their second attempt Has to be a month later, which is already meant to be the case but doesn't exactly always happen. But if they apply before their month is up they should just be auto banned

Id say that they shouldnt get banned, just that they wouldnt get to be SRL members after that, or they would need to wait a longer amount of time before theyre allowed to reapply.

IP Ban. Or they'll keep coming back and things get worse.

Permanent IP ban. Copyright crime. People know very well that there is chance(99% ;) ) to get busted for it, but they still do. More strick rules and it should help a bit.

Imo instant ban, but they shud be wel warned before the apply that if they copy then get banned

Instant account ban, after two account bans ip ban, not instant as someone might have a shared ip.

Yea.. Multiple accounts is not allowed -_- but of course nobody can stop them from making accounts, and are they punished at all currently? I see no reason for ip. ban anyway, if they want enough they can proxy back all the time to try..

well where do u draw the line at wats copied and wat isnt?? does it have to be the whole thing or wat if its half and half?

It already states that the script has to be 90% your own work, so if it's not that then it could technically be called copying…

OMG, you guys are just trying to put YOHOJO out of a job….if that happens, he might actually have time to do some scripting :rolleyes:….surely there is some kind of time mechanism that can be applied to the applications as far as waiting a month to reapply ? same as the minimum post count issue ? and yes, although I don't agree with unnecessary flaming…like I've said before..if you're going to do it…at least give a brief explanation why you are calling them a "retard"……with the wide availability of proxies, I don't know how viable it is to IP ban them, instead, I suggest adding the village idiot cup next to their name…sentence them to "community service"… such as answering noob error questions…. I realize the majority of them only want SRL member status for the scripts,but they are still going to find a way to be here, so might was well try and teach them some good habits…..

Noobs who are dumb enough to copy probably don't even know what a proxy is.

It would be interesting to apply with a few accounts someone created and apply with copied scripts to see how high our detection rate is.

they will have an avvy for 2 months
and can't make another application until the avvy is gone

like saying… ull have to wait an extra month to make an application because u copied a script.
that'll give them enough time to learn to script =p
