SRL Archive - Bot Information and Spottings

Just checked on my running bot and saw a guy near me (just me and him).
I sometimes check the chatbox just out of curiosity.
Well this time I was lucky cause he said something rude earlier. So I had the reason to report and ignore him.
While I was doing it he said 'bot' so I answered him too (real time question-answer). :D


He tried to catch me but I caught him. :D

And thus the botters strike back at the silly legit players!

if everyone does this bots will rule the runescape :p

Hahaha! I hate when people assume I'm macroing just because I don't talk to them. That is only one reason why I don't talk to them. If I see a legit while I'm macroing who actually want to talk and is nice I'll talk to them while Simba is still running. :)

I'm with you on talking to legits.
If they start a convo and are nice I'll have a nice convo :P

was certainly an entertaining convo :P was running your powerminning on a my sisters noob :P

If I am babysitting and a legit goes bot? I reply to them 'Just because I don't like to chat noobs doesn't mean I bot' shuts them up

New auto reply idea: Sometime when asked if it you're botting, Simba says a variation of "I'm busy noob". The rest of the time it will just reply with a negative or lol. Lol can be said for anything.

And yeah seeing noob legits together is fun. One group wearing full bronze asked me to join their clan, so I did (I was on my SRL acc at the time :))

Haha ownage. I used to do that as well.
It's amusing because they think you're just a dumb program and then boom you got them.

Well I sometime get these but last time I went to the G.E. and a player asked me for help on a quest and this is how the little chat went:

Noob: Can you help me?
Me: Depends, I'm doing a quest..
Noob: can you guide me on the whole fermekin quests?
Me: google runehq and that guides you.
Noob: Liar! your not even doing a quest.
Me: yes I am!
Noob: what a selfish rs community. High levels don't help out noobs anymore.
Me: bye (Teleports using spirit tree).

For these reasons I fletch and high alc.

And this is why I use my name check to just log me out. I take three letters (Example "Eth") from my username, and look for them. If someone says: "Ether, whats your botting lvl." I will just log out. That way an autoresponder will not raise questions. It can be infered that you were done playing for the day, and were just logging out.
