I've tried to beat him probably around 10 times now all unsuccessful. Most of the time I can even kill the ranger.. I avoid the heat pads basically all the time. It just seems like my weapons are so inaccurate. Like I never hit. I use full Dharok's and i bring an ss just for the ranger. My melee stats are 80 attack, 99 str, 85 def, 95 prayer with curses. I didn't think he'd be this hard. Any advice? Cause it's getting very frustrating :fiery::mad:

watch guides is the best ive got because ive never tried it yet:/ boss's scare me

^Same here. Watching guides helps a lot. Never did that boss, but I'm sure it takes time to kill :)

Ive watched countless guides… Mehh. This dude is hard.

I've heard that fight kiln became really easy in EOC before the 14 Jan buff update, not sure if that update changed it.
In EOC it's extremely crucial to utilize the combat triangle; you will have a hard time even killing something half of your level if you use the wrong class.

Best way would probably be to bring all 3 combat styles (possibly elite void set) ;)

Maybe wait until the defensive buffs have been settled down and in the mean time maybe look to Max out your stats using one of the auto fighters here?

I would suggest just meleeing tokhaar hok with a shield. if you can kill the first ranger really quick, only meeleers will spawn after. then since prot melee is always on, you have a better chance :D

This is a grandmaster quest boss :o.

OT: I looked at a guide on rs wiki and that helped me kill him. I did him before the armour update though so idk how he is now. I used melee + a shield.

Boss is currently not do able because of the update on the 14th.
Wait 1 more week or so for them to fix it, I cant slay until they revert this update as well

Well im glad ive wasted 6m on supplies and armor -.- Thanks for the advice.

I couldn't even kill Jad before the update, so you shouldn't feel so bad.

Im glad I did Kiln just before the killing of rejuvination AND this ridiculous boost to all boss monsters that make them unkilable.
Srsly jagex ruin the game more and more.

id suggest like they said to just wait it out as all the bosses are broken atm

Yeah they wrecked the combat system atm, They had it to easy, now it's too hard, Try killing a dill. takes forever.

Try to use ice barrage. It'll freeze him but it might take longer.

The Rejuvenation nerf was overkill in my opinion and making mobs hard to hit is bad in my opinion, buff up their hp and/or buff their damage!

we are all really just beta testers atm for them

Does anyone know if they nerfed TokHaar-Hok in the 1/21/13 update?
