So after that last absolute flame post I was served I decided to actually buy the game on eBay. But now that I look it up, it says that I won't be able to play disconnected to the internet… I know I need steam and stuff to register it on my computer, but does anybody have experience in playing Counter Strike: Source completely offline against bots? That's why I wanted the game in the first place.
I also bought the CD if it helps. I heard there was a way to use the CD to create a shortcut to play offline.. would that work?

I do, since I can't play online with my internet.
Install CSS and update fully. Now when you want to play, just go Create a Server and you should see Bots:. Add the amount of bots you want and other options and off you go.

So without a single wifi or ethernet, you click on the game -> Create Server -> Bots + Map -> Start
This will "compile" and not prompt for internet?

Correct. You need to be on Steam Offline mode though. Or Online for that matter. Just in Steam!
Would having the disc change that at all?

Does the disc install it via Steam? If yes, no. If no, I don't know.
I might get this
http://store.steampowered.com/sub/16223/but is it offline available too or is it just 1 big game that would require internet?
