I personally don't like it.
Not trying to be rude or nothing, just IMO.
But ill get used to it….

This new change reminds me of EOC. But again, we will all get used to it.

Personally I really like it. Easyier to navigate and read from my phone. Also reminds me of rsbot a little.

I don't like it at first, looks way to confusing, like with the old layout when I signed up I knew exactly where everything was in the first day…atm I am well confused :( but like Silentcore said exactly like EoC we will get used to it in a few days will be like it never changed

Much nicer imo, although I'm familiar with like 50 different forum softwares so maybe not as confusing for me as it is for others…
I hate vB though, so I'd say anything looks nicer.
It's also noticeably faster.

Loving the new layout, mainly due to the significant performance improvements on a mobile device! :D
So much easier to browse on my nexus now. Besides, the forum look needed… Something new after all these years.
~Caotom
I preferred the old style :P
But this is nice too :)

I've noticed a few bugs…

Also, when going to the next page in a search, it's opening it in a new window…
Other than that, I like!
@HobbitWhy isn't Hobbit showing up? Nevermind, find out why. Have to use the ID of the person…why is that? Why can't I just do @Hobbit and it mention them? Stupid mention tags.

Yeah I like it, It's a bit more modern (which I sort of like) I like the go advanced having subscript etc plus the tagging system is in place?
However still think simba tag button should be on quick reply (who's going to ever use email? :P)
edit: Wait… no activity and longetivity bar :'(
edit2: maybe we should change the avatar limit so you can't take up a huge space because it doesn't fit on one line (kyle :P)

Slightly due to vB4, mostly due to us finally being on Nala.

Syntax is @<username>; and when it parses it changes to user id. Also it only actually works on srl member+ boards.

I preferred the old layout but like anything you will get use to the new look soon enough.
going to have to look instead of going to where buttons would normally be from now on
One thing I like is that I can now rep from my phone without having to open in a new tab
Although people with piles of cups have multiple rows now and it takes up too much space.

Yeah YoHoJo seems to take up a quarter of the page.. :P Also tagging should notify you without tagging. Test.
I see while typing this it also got auto-saved which is nice.
I miss the activity and longetivy bar, hope they get re-implemented! There is some space under join data/location/posts/mentioned for two bars.
Some cups are resized pretty badly so I hope they get resized properly or that they are re-styled? For example, random dev/competition winner are now larger so they lost quality and got pixelated slightly. Some others got smaller which is even worse :P
Also on my phone the homepage doesn't get loaded properly.

Other than that, I enjoy the Metro-Fixed style and everything is slightly faster.
The new rep button is a bit weird and might not get noticed by newer users at first.

Yes I got my notification. And about the rep button, it was a bit hard to find at first, maybe if it gets colored dark green?

Damn I said "Also tagging should notify you without tagging" meant quoting for the first tagging.. hehe. I'd like to see the old rep location. But atleast it works so I guess that is nice already ;) Just like the graphically updated rep boxes.

Automatic tagging i.e: @<username>; (The semi-color is required) is only enabled for SRL Member+ Boards.
However, manual input on the username & userid in the MENTION tags still works on lower boards.
Automatic is disabled on lower boards to prevent new users from spam tagging for help.

That would be because the design language of the modern Windows interface used to be called "Metro". The theme is named "Metro" because the theme
is emulating the look of Windows 8.

No, Windows 8 isn't Metro at all. Microsoft has completely ruined the usage of the word "Metro" for design.

Disregarding whatever "Metro" means for design, in the context of what we are discussing, "Metro" is what Microsoft used to call the design language of the modern Windows UI, and so, Windows 8 = Metro.

No, Windows 8 != Metro. Windows 8 = Microsofts messed up marketing, design, and implementation of "Metro". True Metro looks nothing like Windows 8, or anything that Microsoft calls Metro.
Windows 8 = F'd up BS from Microsoft.
