Well many of you designers use other forms of photo editing software that is free like GIMP because photoshop is just too costly

Well here you go the first ever photoshop I ever used

Which out of all do you recommend for download. Do I jsut need Photoshop CS2 or something else in there that might be helpful.

I would say go for the standard Photoshop CS2, the rest are just ad-ons for either photography/animation - Give them all a try if you have the time/space see what they all do or do some research on them :D

Oh and forgot to mention this photoshop is 10 years however it does the exact same with any other photoshop, it does lack some features but these features were built in for the really experience, the designs I have made on photoshop cs6 for all the SRL members/Avatars/Banners can all be made the same way on cs2 :)

bought? :o, what for, how much?
havn't really seen any cracks / key gens for 6 yet, only editing hosts. Which isn't a good idea unless you can trust the source.

I think it was like 150 or $200? I upgraded from CS5 before.

Yeah we have an office with 8 computers with cs6 on them, businesses get them for a lot cheaper though when you buy them in bulk

If any of you are in a reputable uni (I think in USA only too), try going through them to get software I got windows 8 (recently) and cs5 (first week of school) for free. There are a bunch of free things def look into it.

Yeah a lot of decent uni/apprentices can get you up to 75% off apple products/microsoft products/adobe product (if in the field) here in the UK, anything that is beneficial to your studies will be somewhat paid for :)

Yea I hate gimp, been using my 6 year old imac that has full cs3 for photoshop for the past.. 6 years.. now I won't have to ever boot it up!

Not too sure about imacs but I have a 8 year old HP which runs anything pretty good, some major specs on this, just wish I could go over 4GB RAM :(

It's probably around the same specs :P

not anything compared to the machine I'm on now, glad to have photoshop on here with SSD + 32gb of ram

the imac has like $15k - 20k of software on it all legal, from a company I worked for.. so I hate for it to die, I use it for video editing etc rarely
