So I want to buy a new monitor and this is my setup

Looking for a monitor that is 22-24 inches

My dimension are -

From the left end to the desktop computer - 75cm

From the front to the back - 50cm

I want to buy from this site - http://www.ebuyer.com/store/Computer/cat/Monitors

If any of you monitor nerds can help me find the right one :) Urm price range would be around £100-£130

A new monitor will take less space front to back than your current ones. It will be wider though. With a bit of luck you could dual monitor but I'm not sure if your PC allows you to. One looks neater anyways.. :P

You have to look at the size, brightness, resolution, response time, technique used and manufacturer. And ofcourse within your 130 pounds budget.

In your price range all of the monitors have the same brightness and response time ( 250 cd/m2 and 5 ms)

This one is a LED 24" 1920x1080 screen that looks good aswell and would be my choice out of the ones that are listed.

Looks good, the sony monitor in my picture is linked up to an old IBM laptop which I only use to skype because or to keep resources on but I'll have portable hard drive pretty soon so it will become a spare old lappy and screen, I just need to get an idea of how big 24 inches will be on my desk now atm I dont have a tape measure :(

Take the right screen, add 50% to the width and 10% to the height and it should be a fairly accurate example of one 24" screen.

You will just barely be able to put one more monitor on the desk I'd say. But you could put the PC on the ground.

hey thats my script! but yeah, smoking is bad. And as for cheap monitors, I'd go with an LCD, something used. Check your local craigslist perhaps?

Cba to quote anyone atm so here :p

1 - I tried for a week but couldn't resist it, I think this will be my last pack because I have started to do my cardio again

2 - My main living room screen downstairs is 40 so Ill just use a tape measurement on that and calculate it from that?

3 - If you knew your computers you would know that I have a HP Compaq tower that is like 8 years old and an IBM laptop that is roughly maybe even older that the desktop, I could upgrade but I don't see the point as I have some of the best computers at work to do my work

4 - Yeah man already 99'd defence now 1.5m xp off 99 strength ;)

The key is to keep trying, even if you start again. Just stop again. You'll get there eventually. That's how I did it and I smoked for 5 years, I don't even have that much willpower lol

I'll stop soon enough once I get into the routine of cardio and working out again
