What does this mean in a file path

pull: /system/etc/terminfo/a/ansi.sys -> ./etc/terminfo/a/ansi.sys

I understand "pull: /system/etc/terminfo/a/ansi.sys ->"

Its a command to pull a file from my android device to my computer…..where is it saving the file?

What does the "." mean in the file path?

I don't know, but I'd guess it's saving in the /system folder?

AFAIK . usually means to invoke or execute the file/script following it..

So:

./usr/Foo.txt or ./var/Foo.sys

from terminal or a bash/shell prompt will execute the default application that will open Foo.extension.

I'm not sure what the dot means in your case though :S

EDIT:
http://www.linfo.org/dot_slash.html

According to that, it runs it or interprets it as current directory/absolute path instead of a command..
