Seeing as DJV's Investment Bank had catastrophic results, I believe the idea was genuine. On the offchance that somebody doesn't know what an investment bank is, here's a brief fool proof defintion:

You give me monies, I do stuff with the monies, you get more monies.

Why: As I stated before, the idea is genuine. I'm a Completionist Cape player on Runescape with nothing to do but kill time, make money, and go for 200M's. Flipping is an enjoyable passtime that I use when i'm a bit short on cash.

Experience with flipping: My total bank is close to 1B, so I can afford to flip higher level items such as Nex Armors, Spirit Shields, and Rares. I've made about 100M - 200M of my bank from flipping while I was achieving my Max Cape.

Why I should trust you: I've been an SRL Member for about a year now, actively devoloping and maintaining scripts, thereby investing hundreds of hours (not exaggerating at all) in this community. I've been trusted by various well known members such as YoHoJo (pins/membership). I'm also willing to surrender my personal information (IRL) to a high ranking member so that it can be used as insurance against me, which can be verified incase.

What's it good for?: January to March is the exam season, and many members don't have time to play actively. I do extremely well at school and so have a lot of time for RS. Let me do the flipping for you, and earn money while you sleep!

=Rates=
The returns depend on the length of time you loan me the money for. These lengths can vary from the shortest term of 3 days, to the longest term of 2 months.

3 Days - 5M Minimum Investment: 0.008% per day for three days
7 Days - 10M Minimum Investment: 0.015% per day for seven days
14 Days - 25M Minimum Investment: 0.02% per day for fourteen days
31 Days - 100M Minimum Investment: 0.005% per day for thirty days (Minimum 15.5M return)
62 Days - TBA

All of these rates are subject to change, but will not change without prior warning.

If you'd like to cash out your remaining investment, you will recieve your investment as soon as I see it along with a return which is a flat 0.005% of your investment. You MUST let me keep the money for atleast three days before cashing out.

If you'd like to discuss this, you can either post here OR pm me, whereupon I will give you my Skype username. I appreciate free bumps.

I agree with No.

Also we could put this down on the BM section :)

Good call, moved.

I really do like the idea though, I just think its asking to be abused.

Pretty idiotic to start this so soon after the DJV incident thought I highly doubt Shay would do anything malicious.
Overall I'm actually for it. DJV was Jr member and never contributed anything to SRL besides spam so we shouldn't be too crazily surprised it happens. Shay on the other hand is pretty highly invested into the community.

I based my response on:

Investment thread just shouldn't be allowed as they are all scams anyway, rule #1 black market: USE COMMON SENSE.

And it is. Looking to the incident with Charmz. He was a good Guy and trusted member. Stuff just happened that was completely out of his control and he wasn't willing to go in the hole $600 to keep his account. What happens if this gets into one of those instances.

He's investing everything is going good. He gets more business and his bank grows to being 2B. What if everything crashes down around his ears. that's a huge investment to pay back. Would he then be willing to pay up? or would he rather just loose his account?

It's risky but just plain stupid. Why would anyone even think of offering this kind of stuff? The risk is just way too high!

Feel free to edit my reply if it's seen too inappropriate, too much shit irl going on atm to really bother a lot.
