Not to many bored people in this world would do this. I belive he's hacked by a friend or something.

It's not a big surprise, how many completionist players can say they've never botted?

I agree, to achieve completionist, you need to do a lot of thing repeatly, which is very boring.

Lol I doubt anybody would have a guilty conscience about botting ;).

Maybe he thought that by fessing up to what he did and showing integrity, Jagex would forgive him and there would be no consequences.

Unfortunately Jagex doesn't work like that :p

Maybe he got hacked, or he is trying to let Jagex know that many people, even comps, bot in the game.

doubt it. No evidence. For all they know it could be some kid that logged onto his acc. If i was going to get someone banned I'd just run a sukodu solving script :P

It's soo obvious he bots just from them graphs. Look at how steady the xp gains are. No clear breaks or periods of logouts.

For most people, the idea of levelling up in Runescape is that feeling of achievement, if you bot your comp cape, it's worthless.

I'd like to decline this statement. I botted (~80%) of my Comp Cape and I still take pride in the achievement, all those hours my computer was on finally paid off.

Not sure I agree with this … I got quite a few 99's legit and a couple 99's botting but the requirements for comp cape are absurd. I actually do wonder how many comp capes are completely legit.

Kinda reminds me of the Southpark WOW episode … you can totally imagine the type of person that would have to no-life a comp cape.

forreal i remember my first 99, i got some of it legit but at one point i was like no way can i get that much exp. then i started botting and the 99 accomplishment feeling was still there! onto the next one….

and yea i can picture that, like that one video about the kid with multiple 200m agility skills, kid sounds like he sits in the dark all day fapping and doing agility.
i have too many things i wanna do/things to do than to just sit and play rs all day, ya know?

I disagree as well, I botted everything but slayer, farming, quests and dungeoneering. I still spent countless hours on rs with friends and did legit money makers to make comp cape possible. Being able to skip 1.5k-2k boring hours didn't lessen my achievements.

This, I still play RS but botting is a part of the game for many of us

That's a bit of a shame that you all think like that :/ Although I think you are very wrong about the type of person who gets their skills that high over time, it's about having patience. Personally I just couldn't be happy if I knew I'd botted a comp cape, while there are thousands of legitimate players who do it the slow and honourable way

well i have little too no patience for certain things and runescape is one of them. i can not do repetitive tasks too many times, its only fun for soo long. and i wasnt saying everyone is like that, but i couldnt see any of my friends that i hang out with in rl saying i just 200m in a skill/ just got a comp cape legit/botted. id be happy if i got my cape because i got those skills by botting not having to waste "life-time" that i could have gone out and did something while still earning exp at my house. yes, you may feel more accomplished if you legited cause that was your goal and the amount of time you spent too reach it. but id still me stoked if i got mine too! idk everyones got there own opinions tho :)

You forget that we take the risk everyday of getting banned, that's the thrill which > playing runescape, the thrill itself of evading the system is alone a really good feeling
