Hi guys!

I'm not the best witch computers but I'm wondering which one of these laptops I should get. I have no idea which make is better, if an AMD Dual Core is better than a Intel Due Core etc..I'd like a good laptop to bot with and something to connect to my tv to watch movies :) Also I wouldn't mind sacrificing memory space to get more performance ex: 500GB vs 300GB

Heres link to the laptops within my price range:

Thank you for your suggestions :D

I'm very tired, but IMO Intel CPU's are better than AMD,

300GB should be fine for normal use,

I would make sure to get atleast 4GB RAM these days

I would want 1920x1080 resolution (1080p), this will likely mean it is powerful enough to connect to a TV also, but you want to check it has port connections that will fit your TV

Buying a laptop for the sole purpose of botting is a bad idea, if all you want it for is that (unlikely?) you should look at a VPS

Personally I like intel better, but you'd have to find someone who's done a proper comparison to figure out which AMD vs which intel are better. I run my laptop on an intel i5 which 6g ram and it works really well for a few years now. Unless portability is a must I would suggest going with a desktop though, easier to fix, and cheaper. Costco has some good deals on computers if you want a dell desktop, don't know if you can beat their prices.
Also when comparing computers, not all ram is created equal, and if you try to compare processors based on GHz you're gonna be mislead.

pro tip: Solid State Drive.

Yea processors can have misleading titles, An AMD 3.2GHz can be completely destroyed by an intel 2.4GHz on a benchmark or in performance, because of different clock sizes,

Tip: Stay away from SSD (Solid State Drives) if you dont have alot of money

SSD aren't that expensive I thought? maybe like twice the price of a normal harddrive, but as long as you're not actually using the space (who the hell uses more than 50gigs of their harddrive, unless you got music/videos/porn…) it'll be less space but worth the increased performance. IMO. don't own one though, as I'm to dirt poor to get a desktop. so I'm stuck with my ailing laptop. <3 my laptop though, he's a trooper.

And I would agree with Danny, at least 4gigs of ram depending on what you want to do, More the merrier though. I also use a flashdrive to give myself an extra 4gigs of ram, not as good as real ram but it does help performance when I decide to tax my machine.

Yeah minimum I'd like to get is 4GB of ram. I can't find any laptops with 1920-1080p resolution. I've even searched best buy and future shop. I think I did find some but they were $1500.

Are dedicated graphics better than "built in" ones?
