Hi guys!

I'm just wondering if you think there has been a lower or higher ban rate since the random events getting removed in October 2012.

Low ban rate if the script is good and high ban rate if the script is for goldfarming and/or is crappy.

Agreed, most recent bans seem to be done manually so if a script is bot-like, I bet it has a higher chance of being banned.

Jagex doesn't care, as long as you're paying a membership fee, they could care less what you do with your account.

Members are getting banned.
Check Powerbot.

I don't trust powerbot. lol. but yeah, people do get banned, but you should have enough account as to where if you lose one or five it doesn't really matter. And just bot semi intelligently.

No.. that would be farming, which is bad.
We aim to blend in, not destroy the economy. (Even though I gold farm, lol)

Eh, farming is bad, if you give a kid who has processing power a bot, he'll find a way to use up all his processing power botting and farm. And yes botters ruin the economy for new players. Happens. but eventually you'll figure out that you're burning a hole in your CPU by leaving it on 24/7 and either buy a billion VPSs or go outside again and remember what it's like to have sunshine on your skin.

But you'll be back… You always come back..

PB users got banned due to kiko's dung script. A lot of 2 week bans and roll backs. :(

Thanks for the interesting quote. It does look like Jagex ha collected enough data for banhammers

More accounts are being banned, but an even greater number of accounts are botting. It's very difficult to train in some areas now, Runescape is on its last legs due to bots

Yeah this is true botting has increased a lot in the last few months
