I'm just glad I got maxed before botwatch, the amount of time I botted and for days on end too would have definitely gotten me banned! Although I'm wondering, has anyone had a lot of accounts banned from botwatch that they know of (here at Villavu/SRL)?

I didnt even know there were bots for dungeoneering -.-. Ah well … I have botted quite a bit recently … but I always mix it up with legit playing and havent been banned … but who knows … its probably just a matter of time.

No bans here on my several IMO obvious bots running 24/7

I will believe this when an SRL member gets banned from botting dung…

botting dung is impossible as colour… I know powerbot and Rarebot I think can dung boit. got 50 dung with pb before I left

Its not impossible, its impractical to spend so much time coding something that will give so little in return

Same. I think someone brought up the saga's though, it would (I think) be easier to just bot those.

I'm kinda worried about how they are posting the whole 'legit-botters' because I fall under that :S

what exactly is "botwatch"? Obviously they watch for bots but how do they do it?

They spy on your window to see if you bot.

OT: it's just another fail system which supposedly detects macroing.

Naw there was a SRL ban like a month ago. The guy announced he wrote a script to keep out the clan avatar and it clicked a specific pixel at specific time intervals repeatedly for like 2 days. And it was a ban from an actual mod.

So no ban from a legitimate script… I think even without any random still requiring an actual mod is pretty sad though.

I don't really count that as a ban. Since it was just hitting one key / pixcel for three months straight :garfield:

And it was manual too, so not detected by botwatch.

You gotta be really unlucky to get banned for using SRL.

All I need is 99 range and summoning and then I'll be able to tone down the botting. Hope they don't move onto waterfiends but considering all the bots down there, I wouldn't be surprised.

Not yet. I had to send my laptop back to the makers to get it fixed and so far, I haven't been able to bot. Its frustrating because I feel like that time is slipping away till Jagex gets harder on botters.
