I was getting 135k an hour with SGS training 'defence' now I switched to 'Strength' same set up and I am getting owned ate 5 sharks in an hour against fire giants when in 20 hours only ate 5 before and only got like 75k xp :(
Need a good slashing weapon please
Edit - Was RS updated over new year? Were Fire Giants made stronger or something because I really don't understand how how switched from 'defence xp' to 'strength xp' and that made so much of a difference, will need to use rejuvenate now I guess as well

Don't have requirements, it's just so weird how I got smashed I ate 5 sharks in 1 hour when usually I wouldn't even get hit (I just got 99 defence as well)

IDK if guthan's are good for training. Never tried it after EoC, but the special thing heals like the SGS.
I use Guthans for slayer so I don't need food, I hit well all of the time, I suggest you use it.

Do you use the xp as 'strength' - I am not sure if this makes any difference but I was getting owned at fire giants, I never got hit before now I was getting hit all the time and my xp rate dropped significantly

doesn't make sense, i don't think changing xp gain makes a diff. still sgs still slash. just unlucky.

Yeah it shouldn't make a diff unless there's a bug. Maybe one of your armors degraded and you haven't realize it? ;)

Wearing dragon, unless my torva disguised itself as dragon and somehow fully degraded :p Like the other dude said probz just unlucky
