Wow just wow. I went in to test how hard it was, expecting to die, and I got myself a cape.

Used the rejuvination ability and had 4 prayer potions.
Sure it took me 4 hours to do, but did it with no food.

At the end I had 3 invicnibility crystals, 2 rejuvination/regenerations or w/e they called, and 2 or 3 constitution crystals.

Those consititution crystals were like hacked for 3.5min you get 15,000 hp and it seemed like it never went down.




Ill be doing more of this for the Onyx Stones. Easy 3-4m a day.

If it is, onyx is going to plummet in price. I heard the cape isn't as good anymore too.

E: The cape gives 240 armour rating, 2 prayer bonus and 2.4% crit in melee. A cape of accomplishment gives 180 armour rating and 2% in all 3 styles.

The cape does look boss. I would try to get it except I have no idea how to do Fight Kiln with EOC. I haven't really pvm/pvp since EOC came out either. Just botted and skilled.

kiln is actually pretty easy now. the main annoyance are the dills. ketzeks can be soulsplitted. jad dies in 5 hits. if you have titan, useful for dills. nips hit shit on them now, and dills hit 1.2k unblockable dmg if you're in melee range.

And this is why Jagex fails..

I found fight caves harder.
I don't know what it is, but the monsters in Kiln die faster, than they do in fight caves.

I used only Melee and Mage.

Gandormic (full set, worn at all times no other armour brought)
Fury amulet
Soulwars cape.
Ragefire Boots
Abysal Wine Whip
Dragonfire Shield (needed for the rejuvination ability)
Poly Staff

I had Protect from Mage on (A key) and Protect from Missiles (S key)
Made it really simple to switch between prayers. -Through the action bar ofcourse

Jad's die pretty quick, although they can still hit 4000-6000's easy.

I think I just might have to, because it's not as hard as I thought, AT ALL, and this was my first time too. Also, I myself am not a very good bosser.

I heard a guy did QBD with bronze armor. Why not try bronze armor in kiln? :)

Obviously its much easier on a maxed acc, but it still requires alot of knowledge and skill to stand in safespots, use abilities at different times and such, different techniques and tips, i believe flight was refering to the fact OP clearly has in depth knowledge about the kiln and would be great if he did a normal guide for it ;) Not the challenge of no food way

I researched a lot before attempting. Looked at quite a few youtube videos and saw ways to lure each wave to minimize damage and prevent the jads from attacking you while you deal with the rest of the monsters.

I was told by quite a few to write a guide and or do kiln services, and must say I am extremely intregued to do it.

Just attempted to go for a fire cape… got to Jad, got him half way and when I clicked to protect from range it stayed on mage -.- 2 and 1/2 hour wasted.

I was looking at HP of kiln and jad…15k and stuff like dafuqqq? You can hit 4k with SGS so Jad pretty much is dead in a few hits

Kiln has been able to do w/o food less than 1h since it came out but gz

You might have lagged, were you on your laptop perhaps?
Also did you use the keys in your action bar? I found that if I pressed the wrong prayer I still had enough time to switch back to the right one using the keys A and S for magic pray and missile pray.

Also when jad hits you for say 4000-5000, the trick is to keep switching prayers and dont panic heal right away, this is what gets most killed. Also those healers are very very annoying. Then maybe you already knew this.

While I was doing kiln, I believe the 3rd jad I was facing, hit me for 5500 (or around something like that) and at first I paniced but you must MUST keep switching prayers.

Since he attacks slow and will use magic or range in a row, you have time to heal back up pretty easily. Sometimes he would attack with mage but I prayed range, but still using the action bar I quickly managed to switch to the right prayer. I guess luck sometimes has to do with it.

7 altogether. Only 2 at once.

No.
Jad comes once on different waves, and only one wave has 2 jads.
1 jad on wave 10
1 jad on wave 20
1 jad on wave 30
1 jad on wave 34
1 jad on wave 35
2 jads on wave 36

The hard thing is, it's not JUST jad, the other monsters are present and the harder waves the more other monsters there are and you MUST lure them or they will all be hitting you at once and thats extremely easy to die on.

I don't think jad can be stunned… correct me if im wrong though.

I'm going to try kiln now, fire cape is crap anyway waste of bank space imo
