So I won a dragonstone purple present in SoF, but I'm F2P, and need to subscribe to claim it. I want to, but don't know if I have time to get members, claim it, then sell it before it goes untradeable. Oh, and should I sell the present, or buy the other presents and get the hat then sell that? Does the hat stop being tradeable too? Any help would be appreciated. thanks!

I'm not sure what the street value of a Purple is now, but when it was 50m this was a clear choice; you'd get the difference in cash plus a month of membs.
However, I myself would get the rest of the presents and make the hat. I expect the price of the hat will jump a little after the presents disappear/go untradable, and should level off after that. When demand goes up and the price jumps is when I'd sell. IIRC the hat will stay tradable.

On my main I need a white and that is it then I will get the hat. What does the pudding amulet do though?
To answer your question, yea I would get mems and in mems, if you wish to still be a "f2p" guy, only train f2p skills which are much faster. Say you train prayer using altars so it doesnt cost as much or mining so it wont take as long.

Well the hat is on the g.e., so it will remain tradeable (like the fish mask).
