Like 10 negitive reps i got for stating my opinion how do i negetive rep somebody back?

Funny how its 10x easier to get negitive reped then positive

rep power determines how much negative or positive rep you can give someone. To negative rep someone click the rep icon and select i disapprove instead of i approve. What opinion did they de-rep you for? :p

worth noting that only SRL+ can derep.

The second admendment right to bare arms. I under stand if they negitive rep and leave feed back but like 4 of them just have ".."
hundreds of people use my soulsplit scripts but none rep, then i get bombed with like 10 negitives for an opinion

People only care about themselves, if they are not benefiting from it they will take offense to it so will only bother to deal with something if you've made a statement that offends them

just disable rep.

There were 4 negative reps, not 10 and only 2 had ".." comments ;)
Let's not exaggerate.

Yes it is silly that people more commonly give negative reputation than positive, but that is much like how our world works. You are far more likely to hear feedback from a customer to in unhappy than one who is happy. Rep has no real value here, it just gives you those little green squares, nothing else.

But if it still bugs you, do as suggested above, disable your rep. If you cant find out the option for that, I can disable it for you.

Get over it, rep doesn't mean anything here anyways and your just gonna start a rep war.

I was one of the people who de-repped you. I was indeed a bit short on words, since I only stated that I thought the thread was unnecessary. The reason however was not because you defended "the second amendment right to bare arms". I de-repped you because you created a cluster of objects that could kill people and then stated they all should be banned. From that moment on you created a situation where it was impossible to share different opinions. Everyone knows that a gun's sole purpose is killing, and a car's sole purpose is transporting people. I was fine with debating the second amendment, but got annoyed by the way you started it.

I also did a "." rep, but I have an excellent reason for that.
My iPhone closes out the rep window after I type even one character, so I think it'll be better than doing a random letter.

My Android doesn't play nice with the rep window either so I just longpress on the rep button and select open in new tab. Then it will let me type :)

As someone else said just turn off your rep if it bothers you.

It shouldn't make that big of a deal?

This was a pointless thread, because rep has no significance and. everyone gets de-repped when they don't think they deserve it at least once.

Well sometimes your opinion can differ from others and in order to state it or defend you need to be prepare to suffer the consecuences.

It doesn't matter if your right or not, when you are against the mainstream people will not like it. Some bad reputations are worth if you want to give your opinion.
(BTW i don't approve the second amendment but its you opinion, defend it always with bases if you believe in it) Reputation doesn't really matters.

Just do what i do when i get de - repped, figure out who it was and bury the deep hatred and disrespect and secretly harbour the hate

If you dont know who it was or theres no comment, consider the advice / comment or just ignore it and move on

I too was once like you- angry at those who had derepped me, but trust me it was stupid and I was in a moment of harsh resentment. Learn to respect people here. I'm on my way to earning a better reputation here, maybe you should too?

If we were to ban those things we might as well be living in an Amish Reserve. Just because some people decide to do stupid things we shouldn't all have to suffer but still regarding that some items should be banned especially if their sole purpose is killing.
