Walking: what's wrong?

procedure WalkToTanner;
begin
MakeCompass('N');
if (FindSymbol(x, y, 'cook')) then
begin
MouseFlag(x + 30, y + 5, 4, 4);
if (FindSymbol(x, y, 'furnace')) then
begin
MouseFlag(x + 18, y - 12, 3, 3);
end;
end;
end;

And every once in a while during testing, it doesn't do the flag, and suddenly clicks again, as if it had already arrived it destination, then proceeding on far to early.

What can I do to make sure the flag works?

I think that recently there has been a problem with the walking due to the change of MMCX so if you change that back it might work.

Define problem…?

Is MMCX the middle of the minimap x-coordinate?

I don't really understand what you're saying.

It will keep moving on, because the flag is not spotted in the minimap. If the mouse clicks somewhere, and the flag dissapears, then it will continue. Make sure it doesnt click too far off the center of the minimap.

But the flag is very visible.

Thats why I'm so puzzled.

MMCX is the center of the minimap and in SRL 3.7 it the coordinate got changed and apparently walking relied on it and so walking got messed up because it didnt know where to look so your best bet would be to look at the coordinate in SRL 3.6 and then change it to that in 3.7.

same thing happened with me. I will try that MMCX thing

I doubt MMCX changed it. All it couldbve changed was things like RadialWalk, or something along those lines. That is just a simple flag problem.

Maybe there was lag or sumthing?

I saw Boreas say that somewhere. So I'm not sure if it's accurate but hey.

Ya im pretty sure I saw boreas say that somewhere too….but meh I'm using 3.7 now with all new scripts and it works fine. So I think it's only scripts that were done in 3.6 need to be changed because the co ordinates for MMCX and MMCY were changed
