I found this laying around on Imgur today, perhaps some of you would like it. :) Well-said and wonderfully illustrated, IMO.

You know what else is cool? All the atoms which we are comprised of are mostly empty space. The relative distance between the nucleus of an atom and the electrons that orbit it is vast. You can imagine a grain of sand as the nucleus, the orbiting electron would be something like 4 miles away.
That's trippy.

Ah yes, this reminds me a quote from the bible: Proverbs 3:5:
Even the bible forbids you to think independently. After all, it's easier to say " 'cause God did it", right? ;)

I did not mean to stir up a Biblical debate. Thats on you.
But we can all pull Bible verses out of our asses all day.
How can a piece of organic matter create something with functioning organs that reacts with the environment?
In scripting terms that is like dropping a cat on your keyboard and expecting it to make something useful that compiles.

Do it a near infinite number of times, then its that much more likely to happen, our brains have a hard time really understanding "Infinite", if something is possible and can happen no matter how unlikely it is to happen, apply infinite amounts of waiting and its going to happen its just a matter of when :)
I always wondered how Raw atoms and materials somehow turned into living bacteria, theres some really interesting videos explaining about it on youtube ;)

@Flight and riwu, before you continue to ostracize our bible believing brethren on this forum, maybe consider that I think independently of you. (And yes riwu, your quote's only purpose is to create division.)

Haha no offense intended cause. :p I was simply quoting that because of ___'s reaction to anything evolution-wise: instant disregard, no open mind.

I'm sorry for even posting that…
Yes. I'm a Christian so I don't believe in evolution.
We can all talk about right and wrong, but in the end we walk away unchanged.
You can believe evolution is what made out Earth, I can believe God did it in 7 days. I respect your view, please respect mine.
