Get this, Yui got caught botting by Sir Fly Pig l0l0l0l!

OH SHIT.
Loyal was botting castle wars (afk)
Snuggz was botting at jadinkos, for 200m fm
Pink Asian was botting magic/defence
Mohammedawa botted 200m cooking

Most, if not all of them, were near 1b total or way over that.

EDIT: I pay attention to runetracker way too much to recognize most of these names.

So many posts on that thread saying that these bans make them feel like playing RS again.

It's good to see Jagex ban-hammering their way to user-depletion :).

Its funny how people like snugzz just let it go as if it was nothing, but then again theres all that time where they spent botting it all.

Just saw same list at hlf, it's good imo that they got banned:P

I still think They really should've gone after gold farmers. And then handled the maxed players as a second resort once they took care of farmers/botters that weren't even close to max.

I was banned 10 days before BotanyBay for macroing/goldfarming and I didn't even bot on any account I ever owned, which just shows how bad the RS banning system is. The account is perm banned without reason and all appeals were ignored.
I quit RS for good -first I wanted to get into botting so I ended up here, but then decided against it- but that's aside from that point.
Jagex's ban system fails in every way and this 15-players banned stunt is nothing but a gimmick as their game is going to shits. :)

I think they should get their own hall of fame for getting max while botting it all without Jagex knowing!

Incase anyone was curious about their total xp's
It ranged anywhere from 530m to 1.1 bil

thats pretty scary seeing these kind of accounts get banned. i hope i get my goal and am still safe :D

I heard a lot of people were banned because of double xp dung weekend! Even non botters!

They had xp ranging from 600M to 1.2B

Lol I met most of these people in my days of actual legit play, can't say I am surprized. I plan on never botting when I have a max cape, whats the point.. 200m isn't special to me :p

Maybe 200m firemaking, but I would do that in the comfort of my own POH.

I was actually going to go for 200M xp in a skill but after seeing this, I think I change my mind.

I think I've heard of Maxed Caleb, but none of the others.

Im actually thinking of going all the way and bot as much as I can and hopefully reach and pass 1b total xp. The recent bans are serving as a motivation/urge for me to see how far I can go till I get caught.. if I get caught.

I think its right to say that the only reason that these players got banned was because of:
1. Unusual xp gains, which was tracked on tracking sites
2. Maxed players began tracking these people and their xp gains
3. Those players kept annoying/repeatedly bringing up the issue of how it was unfair that there were a group of maxed players who are botting to get to the top.

Those are the reasons I could think of. If a player reported them in game, I doubt nothing would've been done.

If player(s) brought up the names to the HLF, then some action was taken, clearly shown here.

Exactly, this has nothing to do with botwatch/nuke/etc.

If that's the case then it's safe to say a smart way to bot it spend X amount of hours on whatever you're wanting to train, take a break, do a little bit of something else (mini-game, farming run, check ports, ect…), perhaps do a little bit of trading, then go back to running your regular script. That's what I do and that's what I'll continue to do.

I switch between
A. botting & legitting
B. just botting till who knows when

If I have a task, assignment, or friend on, I usually stop for that moment, and spend the time to legit. And then turn the bot on before I head to sleep.

Many of those people did legit dg, one of those guys was a rank in my leech fc, 1 of them leeched in my fc and I dged with like 3 more of them.

That's why I have no interest in getting maxed, because people watch you, and it's more suspicious.

Nice find. It'll be interesting to see how it plays out over the next couple of weeks.

Wow I had no idea maxed players were tracked this much. I'm only a couple skills from maxed, and I've botted every single one of them. I don't track my progress anywhere or really have any in-game friends or feel like I'm known by anybody.

Should I be taking precautions or be worried at all?

Me, it's fun.

Yeah, it is somewhat fun and relaxing to legit after botting for a long time/being finished maxing.

And then there is going for 200m in a skill, which is a different story ;)

Damn and im always paranoid running like 5 hours or so a day, these guys gave new meaning to bot hard or banned trying
