Computer shut down all by itself suddenly.
When I turned turning on it would only turn in for a split second and not even post to BIOS!
Opened it up, took out BIOS battery and put it all back together.
It worked but the bios didn't even reset (lol guess I had to take it out longer?)

Now it boots, but eventually I just get stuck at a screen with 8 blue dots at the top left. I normally see this screen when booting but now it just stops at this screen.

I ran Windows startup repair and these are the results:

Someone care to help out or research for me? Thanks!

The errors seem to claim that you've modified your drivers and the new drivers don't work?

Try out http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2695585 to resolve the error for the system restore.

In the worst case maybe you have to reformat and then retrieve any file you want with a data retriever (file data are kept even after a reformat as long as you don't intentionally wipe it)

Thanks.
The thing is is that I didn't install any drivers recently the computer just shut down and this started happening.
I'm unable to even boot into windows so I can't apply the hot fix and when I run the system restore from the place where the pictures were taken I get the error.

Hmm you say I can reformat but keep files…. And still be able to access/restore then too? This sounds like a good decision because I have an SSD to put into my computer anyways that I was going to put in this week.

More info on how to reformat but keep foes to restore?
Ideally I'd like to fix this problem though, I'd rather back y things the way I want to rather than doing it just though the file system.

Get linux on a flash drive, boot it…grab whatever you want from your computer, then reformat windows then put all the files back on the Windows part.

I've had this problem before, I ended up doing the above^ Windows "automagically" updated my drivers and boom, bad driver = crappy day :P Glad you fixed it :P

Possibility of a virus that edited a driver maybe?
