Just out of curiosity, how long do you guys bot for?
I usually bot for around 10 hours max and I know that's really short but I'm really scared of getting banned? But yeh, just curious as to who has botted the longest? Would love to see some good proggies as well, just to see on average on how long you guys bot for to see if I am really just being a pussy or not.

Well I'm pretty close to 99 magic and that's been my target ever since starting Runescape so I'm gonna play it safe until then, has soon as I hit that my computer isn't gonna turn off for a long time

depends how much you care about being banned really
saw like a 9 day idung project back in RSbuddy days when jagex didn't update one week.
But on simba like 5 hours

I used to run mines for 3 days at a time, back before the Bot Nuke etc. After that, it was 6hs at a time, 2 times a day.
Now I bot sensibly, about 2-3 hours a day, during the day time when normally people do play, and with breaks. Works out pretty well for me.
Also keep all my chats off as a reason to both avoid having to answer questions, have to even see the masses in the ge, and so I don't miss click on colors. ;)

As an experiment I took an old Ratz account after the botanyday update, memberised it, and botted Magic 99 and thiev 99 in two months, with wc currently 91. I wanted to find out just how far I could push it: I have botted on that one account for the last 50 days around 12-18 hours a day. And it is not banned…
Before botanyday, I botted over longer periods of time, but with an army, and in line; they'd go on for a week. Currently I let the game session end, so I bot for six hours straight max. before manually restarting the script.
This leads me to the conclusion that the banning system is still the same; if you make sure your not reported by legits, you should be just fine doing 18 hours a day…..with a proper script.

Right now, I would say do at max 12 hours, 6 in the morning, restart exactly at the end, and begin your next six. Then wait for the next day. I do not think you would want to wait till WT is banned before you stop ;)

I usually go about 6hrs a day after school and 10hrs on weekends. My worst blackmark is a language minor for saying assssssss beside a mod.

WT doesnt drink. WT couldnt figure out how it is possible that the majority of bots nowadays wear skillcapes. WT experimented….and now he knows.
P.S.: At the thiev-chests there are still many skillcaped bots. Worse: majority of chestthievers are (thieving skillcaped) bots. With obnoxious names. And if javabots can do this….why couldn't we?

Here I am, months later with no bans. I have been TRYING to get this account banned. I think it's more of a challenge to actually get banned than the other way around.

and that ban was after 3 months 24/7…
