So yeah, made a flash game.

Basically, try to avoid the falling smiley faces.

Bug: You need to go to the options tab first, I lolforgot to declare a variable in the main part, so it reads it from there, and it's not created unless you open the screen first.

Instructions:

Open game.exe

File > Open

Click "Browse"

Find Avoider.swf and open it.
Enjoy

Just FYI if you make a game yourself, its most likely guna be a exe,

I think you can use just the .swf for flash games though?

I make small games i share with friends all the time in C#, and its near impossible to share it without an exe

No clue, with my large break, and actually attempting to understand it, and not just copy(Tis the only way to ever learn), a few days.

Oh yeah! Forgot to say that you did a good job! Lol It was fun! I'm thinking I'm going to start with this game and maybe add multiple enemies with different movement speeds and power-ups! Then maybe move onto a block breaker type of game if that is even possible!

Once I sort this bug out, I think I'm going to add different levels. It'll be cool.

I was thinking of levels too! Can't really come up with much of a variation of what would happen for levels besides speed changes and amounts of enemies though… Any ideas?

God, I'm so bad at Flash. Had to make a music video for class, god… Had a moving .GIF down both sides of the display throughout the entire thing (picture at the bottom of post). Had stick figures running around everywhere with no tweens or anything… Only decent thing I had was fading text. Haha.

Well done with this, well done. I'm hopeless at art aswell.

Wow, that guy is still going strong. I remember being there when he made it(not hipster). I kinda left that scene around 2008/2009. May I suggest to switch to flashdevelop and flex instead of adobe flash professional. It offers a better coding experience.
