Vyre corpses

So I've been training on the vyre lords and so far I've been collecting the corpses. But I feel its just wasting my time since I burnt like 100 of them and didn't even cover the cost for the logs I bought. So is it worth collecting them?

Which logs did you buy?

The higher the log the higher level of prayer xp you get.

There's much more easier ways of making money

I just wanted to make some extra geepees while training on the vyrewatch, so I'll take the vyre burning idea as a no then? Because it does reduce my xp picking them all up, banking them and then burning them takes forever.

It's worth it sometimes :l

I made 11m off it in a couple hours. Spent around 2m though. I ended up getting the Zammy pages from using the keys.

Ofc they are worth of collecting cos burning 500 of them is comp cape req

Unless you're going for a comp cape, I'd say to steer clear of Vyre killing. There are faster ways to get money and get prayer or combat XP.

After burning a ton of them the Blisterwood weapons get pretty godly, but there's still a lot of work before they get good (assuming they still work the same way after EoC).

I concur with Brandon … its like almost everything else on Runescape … your not rewarded for quantity your rewarded by luck. I burned a couple hundred and got a couple zammy pages which sold for over 10 million. I was also boosting my Blisterwood weapons so it was a win-win.

You could have spent the same amount of time fighting nex … spent a ton on supplies and walked out with a few super restores and sara brews. Theres always something better at making money the problem is most of it is luck … and having spent the past 7+ years the BEST drop I EVER had was Dragon Claws after spending an entire week no-lifing the bastards.
