Can one of you masters of c++ add reflection back in smart 8.0 just for me :)

It should be as simple as taking reflection from a previous version and adding it to 8.0 and compiling it…. I just cannot figure it out

I am going to attempt to fix reflection… I will share with the person who does this for me :)

You do not need C++ pro to do anything :S? I believe all you need to do is the Java side. Isn't reflection done on the Java side? JNI would be required to allow Simba to give Smart the information.

Jun 22, 2012 Smart v7.2 was the last to have Reflection. I don't think it should be too hard to just add in?

Then again, I might be wrong..

Like brandon said, no c++ involved: https://github.com/BenLand100/SMART/tree/v7.2/reflection/src

edit: nvm, didn't notice reflection.cpp

That? That's all just the JNI stuff.

You should talk with mormonman, as he has already fixed reflection, according to him.

You'll have to figure out how to send the information back across the shared memory from the SMART process to the Simba process, which will take more than a little work. I took reflection out of the out-of-process versions because it was more effort than I felt like putting into something that was hardly used. That being said, all the old code is still good, you'll just have to bridge the two processes.
