So, I'm still very novice to all this new age, EoC, etc. content.

I was wondering if I may request some input to direct me towards the right answers regarding the following questions (pertaining to RS EoC Combat):

• How are kills determined now? - I hear it's first click, first serve (opposed to old 'majority damage')?
• Is there any way to tell that you are the 1st to attack a monster?
• Can you attack multiple monsters 'first' and reap all of their loots?

Those are my questions, any other additional pertinent information may be of help too.

If the name of the monster has a star/asterisk next to it, it is your monster as you tagged it. You can attack multiple and get all the loots yeah. I don't know how the kills are determined.

Never heard of the first click first serve deal :p

first hit now, not first click. you could have someone fighting something but not hitting and you could go up to it and pwn it and get the xp + loot

But it's true.

I was doing Monkey Madness(was level 60 post EoC) to gain access to the agility course. To that end, I needed to kill an archer monkey to use their bones to make the greegree.

Naturally I couldn't kill it (was level 113) so I asked someone that was training on the temple gorillas to kill it for me.
So I attacked the archer monkey first, then he killed it and I got the loot.

What's it mean when I'm standing around idle next to monsters, but I still see an asterisk next to the monster even though my only role in the situation is idling standing and right clicking the monsters Options? Does this mean somebody else already has the monster targeted?

It goes by first hit, then it will have an * next to the name, you will then get all the loot and exp from killing it. So theoretically you could tag a bunch and just wait until they all die, gaining free exp.

I think the * is even for other people to?

Im not sure how it works out. It's very confusing.

Best bet is to try yourself and see how it works.. Try the tutorial in lumby - gives you xp and explains.

I also got question about new combat system.
Before the EOC, the states of weapon is compose by strength and attack bonus. But now it use accuracy and damage. what is the relation between attack lv and accuracy, and how do strength lv affect damage.
