I am trying to create two types that reference each other, and to do so i need to use a pointer type.

waht i have that i would think compiles correctly

TSST = ^TSubSkillTab;
TST = ^TSkillTab;

TSkillTab = record
DTM_Active, DTM_Inactive : string;
Placement : integer;
Name,UpText : string;
BorderColor : Integer;
Children : array of TSST;
end;

TSubSkillTab = record
DTM_Active, DTM_Inactive : string;
Placement : integer;
Name,UpText : string;
Parent : TST;
end;

I cannot directly reference TSubSkillTab trom the TSkillTab type, because i have not yet defined it.

Am i declaring the pointers wrong?

Right, but is this for switching tabs in the ability book?

i was hoping to organise it better, through pointers, but it wasn't compiling. thanks dbg.

switching tabs and detecting the tab is finished.

Hmmm, You should speak with euph before finishing much more, he's the one who wrote the current one.

Try not to do anything too crazy…

I am curious, what about the current SetAbilityBook is not to your liking?

:P No problem. There hasn't been anything to point out new additions since the EoC. I might make a thread to keep up with the SRL additions.
