Just making this thread out of concern that I could have possibly been scammed by a member of this forum by the username Footy. He currently is losing activity which is not like him and he will not respond to myself over emails or pms, and others over various methods of communication.

I am still hoping to get in touch with him and get the issue resolved once and for all, but because it has been almost a week since I last contacted Footy, my hopes are not high. I trusted him like many members do and truly hope this thread will not prove true, but I have a bad feeling. Footy please prove me wrong!

The situation is that Footy owes me 54m from the quest service. I am currently working on Cynicrus' account and completing quests and Cynic payed for the service before hand. Since I do not have Paypal, and that is how Cynic wished to pay, Footy accepted the money on my behalf. I did not request payment from Footy until after I was done, but because of IRL issues, I did not finish before membership ran out. It was my fault so I offered to renew the membership with the money Cynic used to purchase the service as it was only fair. I requested the money back but never heard back from Footy since.
Footy also owes me 40m (+5m interest) for money I lent him to merch with after the EOC. I no longer have Cynic's paypal receipt, but he can vouch for the above and you will have to take my word that I never received the payment. I also have pm's proving the above which I will post on the next post. Unfortunately I did not take screenshots or anything as I was completely trustful and never thought this would happen. Again Footy, please prove me wrong. I hope you are just busy IRL or something and have not got around to it.

So in total he owes myself 99m.

I saw your post on Hamlett's thread and didn't want to hijack it, but would you be willing to lend GP for ~5% interest? With EOC out, there are so many good merch/flip oppertunities, but I can't seem to buy any gold atm. I'll also buy gold if you are selling. 

Let me know what you think, I'm not forcing you or anything, just asking what you think about it.

Yup, I have the $ for that, and when I buy it, I'll hold it until you are ready.

Whenever you can give it back is fine. 2 weeks sounds good for a max. I am comfortable with lending you as much as you need granted I have the gp of course. How's 40m sound? Will give you it from my mule whenever you are ready.
40M would be awesome! I'll pay you the 45M back in no more then 2 weeks from now.

Please note mods, do not pursue Footy or do anything for the next few days as he may get back to me and I am willing to wait. Myself, or another member will contact you if we wish for further action.

I hope this manages to get resolved soon. Hopefully he's just been busy.

Also, I trust footy and all, actually, I trust mostly everyone here I talk to. But only to a limit. I can't go as far to say that he has officially scammed you, but I can say that it was to up to your descretion on how to handle it.

Since you lent him a ton of money, and he owes a lot as well. Trust him for now.

Footy doesn't seem to be that kind of person

I sent him a pm about a week should asking about buying some gold and he never responded to it, so it's not just you. He probably ran into some irl issues that are keeping him busy atm. Hopefully they aren't too serious and he'll be back soon. :p

Yeah we all know this. Most of the above posters already knew about this.
However theres definately something wrong. Look at footys activty, he hasn't been on for two days?
This really isn't like footy, I hope it's just irl problems.

Did you report this to an admin? Should get it sorted out through discussions with them and footy

Gonna close this, not really something that should be/needs to be discussed in public.

A PM to a mod/admin would be nice, and then a thread would be made in the staff section.

Then as updates come in, you can keep telling us what's going on, and we'll decide what action to take.

I've made the issue known to the staff, please PM an active mod/admin (not me, I'm busy for a while :p) if anything changes and we'll decide what to do.

This was already brought up in the staff section. I really do not see the point of this thread as you knew it had been brought up.
