The new terminal is cool and all, but it is taking up too much room on my icon bar (or whatever it's called in windows) I tend to run a few scripts at a time, and if I have 3 clients open, that's 9 windows.

Is there a way to disable it/stop it from launching, closing it after it launches kills smart.

you could use tray it to minimise to tray

I mean is there a way to stop it from opening, it takes up too much space in the tray.

I believe he means to java.exe console that Smart 8.0 opens with.. The console for Smart cannot be hidden by normal means..

Edit the SmartRemote.cpp and change the line:

info.lpFile = "java.exe";

to

info.lpFile = "javaw.exe";

Then invoke the makefile to recompile it.

It hides the java console.

Also, another thought; would it be hard to make the SMART client hide the Simba IDE?

That would mean I could operate with only 3 windows :stirthepot:

Get your "massive goldfarming army" windows 7, so the tabs stack :p
