To be honest sometimes looks like you spam a bit :D even if I like some of your post, I have to say this forum is not place for trash-news I guess :? Since I see your status is RS News Reporter maybe you should stay on topic? I don't mean you cannot post anything, but this forum AFAIK is RS + Programming related (here is some sections for other post I assume ?? ) anyway who am I to judge. just saying :)

EDIT: NOTA < this one should fit eatable iPhone case news etc.

This is not how you should have said it. Without calling his name you did in fact attack him. You can complain about the amount of news threads, but it is policy to not count that as spam. If you want that to change cause you think that is annoying, you should have asked who else thought that there were too many of them or create a rant thread that you think there should be less news threads.

I think it would be best to let this thread die.

I like the rs related threads, but the other news threads are pretty unnecessary.

Jakeeee, the runescape update posts are great. As for the rest, every once in a while they can be okay. However it's getting a little over-board… Why not create a thread in NOTA and just post your little heart out(all on the same thread).

I like his threads… I do like to read odd snippets other than Runescape and Scripts

I agree with xtrapsp. I don't see why youre all knocking this guy. He writes lots of good reports. Its not forcing you to read them.
I can see you might be annoyed that the latest threads are mostly from one guy but maybe others should start more or just look through the actual forums. Its just the nature of the system.
Why make comments to try and restrict what he writes? I could stop him writing anything at all, which in my opinion is not what anyone wants.

I would just like to see RS news in that area, but feel free to post other news in NOTA or anywhere else for that matter.

big amount of useless thread may push good threads out of top 20 though, then instead of checking home page i have to bypass grannies, and iphone cookies too get what most of us want to see. And like I said it's not a big deal if it's nobodies, cares, but since here is a lot of ppl who cares, because we all can start go to http://edition.cnn.com/ choose your favorite topics. and after short time we can change name from villavu.com to random-news.com…
And again, I will repeat, if admins/mods likes this lets leave it like it is.

I agree with Nebs but Jake also. It's a free open discussion board so Jake has the right to post anything.
However NOTA should be the section for it.

I believe Nebs is trying to make the point that it's taking up his new post/thread feed.

I do love the RS updates and I read most of what he posts. I think the non RS related posts should be in NOTA, However if he chooses to post them in the forum he has, I think just as well(:

I gotta agree with nebula… all I see is this crap that nobody cares about along with a bunch of news that anybody who's ever graced the runescape homepage would know. He has a post count comprised of copy-paste. I was looking for a high alcher, but instead I got "Plyer ooned p0rtz comin soon!21!" Jakee, I learned that with single click from runescape homepage.

I am surprised Jakee only commented on this thread once. Proud :D
