Don't know about minecraft but up in Totteridge Lane Mike Ashley's house is nearly all year covered in lights, they don't flash but every time I go down that road the house looks amazing

It's actually pretty amazing how little it is with led lights
the average of the good ones that people are using is like 0.07 watts per bulb, so you're really pulling less than a computer idling
I guess some of the bad ones (according to the internets) almost pull 1 watt, in that case you're still saving like 80% electricity
